The Latest in the Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Hough Case
A legal battle broke out between Nicki Minaj ‘s attorney and the attorney representing Jennifer Hough.
Attorney Judd Burstein is seeking to sanction Jennifer Hough’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn, for allegations she made against rap queen Nicki.
Tyrone Blackburn represents Jennifer Hough, who sued Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty for $20 million.
Hough says the couple bullied him. She claims that Nicki scared him off so she could be removed from the National Register of Sex Offenders.
There is also another situation. Tyrone Blackburn and ex-lawyer Steven Gordon filed documents claiming Nicki Minaj was a member of a New York gang called The Makk Ballers.
According to allhiphop, Nicki Minaj wants to get back the money she spent in self-defense. That’s why she promised to sue Tyrone Blackburn. She brought her claims to the ground on Monday, April 11th.
Her lawyer, Judd Burstein, asked the judge to punish Blackburn. Her behavior on the case was, in her view, embarrassing.
Burstein said she deliberately tried to tarnish Nicki’s reputation by claiming she supported child sexual abuse because she helped defend Blackburn in her brother Jelani Maraj’s rape case.
“If ever there were a case for imposing sanctions… this is that case. From the beginning of this case, when [Jennifer Hough’s] attorney, Mr. Blackburn, filed a complaint which was factual non-wealth against [Nicki] and plainly motivated solely to prey upon her and fame, ”Judd Burstein snapped.
Burstein Blackburn denied allegations that Jennifer Hough was involved in a conspiracy with Steven Gordon, his former lawyer, who allegedly worked as a “double agent” to help Nicki Minaj win the case.

Blackburn also used the lyrics of Nicki’s song “Yikes” to justify her alleged involvement with gangs.
Tyrone Blackburn eventually claimed and fired Steven Gordon of being a drug addict.
“I received a firsthand account from Gordon’s family concerning Gordon’s purported drug addiction. I received a firsthand account of the kind of drugs Gordon is addicted1 too, as well as graphically detailed accounts of the impact Gordon’s addiction has had on Gordon’s family,” Tyrone Blackburn said.
Legal process continues for Jennifer Hough. Hough struggles with his quest to get $300,000 from Nicki Minaj’s lawyer. He is also pursuing a separate case against Kenneth Petty. The judge hasn’t made a decision yet.
