The Times Snoop Dogg, Miley Cyrus, Shakira Covers and Lady Gaga Performs With Metallica
There are some huge rappers and pop rock artists that played Metallica during their stage, even one of them have performed with the heavy metal act at the 59th Grammy Awards.
These days, when all genres intertwined with each other, Metallica was played by some rappers and pop rock musicians several times in the past. While the famous rapper Snoop Dogg performed the band’s unique song Sad But True just in front of them, Miley Cyrus had performed Nothing Else Matters in 2019. Besides those two musicians, Shakira was also seen while performing Metallica‘s Nothing Else Matters while Lady Gaga performing alongside the band.
But as some of you might know, those sounds are not the first time that a rapper sang one of the tracks of a musician in the rock and roll community. In 2019, Post Malone guested The Prince Of Darkness, known as Ozzy Osbourne, with the world-known rapper Travis Scott on his Hollywood’s Bleedings album.

On June 5, 2003, Snoop Dogg had played Metallica‘s unique song Sad But True, which was taken the band’s fifth self-titled studio album, The Black Album. The rapper made his performance for MTV’s third annual Icon tribute show that celebrates Metallica.
Shakira Covers Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters
Over the years, Shakira‘s admiration and respect for Metallica can not incontrovertible. Expressing her love for the band every time, Shakira has covered Metallica‘s Nothing Else Matters as part of her The Sun Comes Out World Tour.
In addition to her cover, Shakira has recently shared a social media post about listening to Metallica. The redhead was smiling while looking at the camera and was looking pretty beautiful.

Miley Cyrus Appears To Cover Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters
The American pop and hip hop singer Miley Cyrus was one of those who covered Metallica‘s Nothing Else Matters besides Shakira.
In 2019, when Miley Cyrus made an appearance at Glastonbury, she made fans emotional with her voice while singing Nothing Else Matters from Metallica. Following her performance, the band included her in their newest massive reissue of Black Album that includes 53 different artists in total.
After all, Miley Cyrus has once again performed the song professionally in support of Metallica bassist Rob Trujillo, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma, and WATT.
Lady Gaga Performs Alongside Metallica At The 59th Annual Grammy Awards
On February 12, 2017, Lady Gaga and Metallica have signed one of the most unforgettable moments in the music world. The heavy metal act and Gaga collaborated to perform at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
Throughout the show, Lady Gaga and Metallica rocked the crowd with their unique performance. James Hetfield and Lady Gaga sang together in the moments when the fires lit up during the show. Even so, Hetfield‘s mic was not plugged at the time and it caused them to perform side by side with Lady Gaga.
Following their huge performance, James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, the founding members of the band, have commented on Lady Gaga. They’ve sent their respect for her and said that she was great.
“I just respect her as an artist,” frontman James Hetfield said. “She was there for two hours before we even got there, working on her moves and thinking stuff up. She is extremely creative and a fearless artist.”
Lars Ulrich added: “Lady Gaga, in particular, she loves metal. She was telling me that ‘Metal Militia,’ which is this deep cut on our first album “Kill ‘Em All,” was her favourite song back in the day.”
