Today is the death anniversary of a legend. Exactly 25 years ago, the legend of rap, Tupac passed away. Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996) was an American rap artist, poet, screenwriter, actor and producer. Also known as 2Pac, Pac.
As of 2007, Tupac Shakur is a Rap legend who managed to sell over 75 million albums and despite his death at a young age, he achieved this success and entered the Best Selling Music Artists list. He was named the 86 Greatest Artist of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine. The main themes of many of Tupac’s songs are about violence and hardship in the slums, racism, social problems and his relationship with other rappers in the East Coast-West Coast fight.
It was shot 4 times in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 7, 1996. He died 6 days after being hospitalized with a diagnosis of respiratory and heart failure, and scientists still doubt his death.
The sequence of events that led to Tupac’s death developed as follows. On September 7, 1996, Tupac, Suge Knight and Death Row Records band went to watch the Mike Tyson – Bruce Seldon boxing match at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. After the match, the group spotted Orlando Anderson of the Crips gang in the hotel lobby. In the ensuing fight, the James Rosemond band badly beat Orlando Anderson. After the event, Tupac and Suge Knight prepared to go to Club 662 to have fun. Tupac was sitting in the front seat of the BMW 750iL driven by Suge Knight, with a long convoy of friends and bodyguards behind them.
While the vehicle was stopped at a red light 20 minutes before he was hit, a photographer took the famous last photo of Tupac.
At 11:15 PM Suge Knight’s vehicle was stopped at red lights, while a white Cadillac approaching from the right of the vehicle stopped next to Suge and Tupac and was pelted with bullets by an unidentified man in the backseat. Tupac was hit by 4 bullets. One of the bullets hit his right lung. Suge Knight, on the other hand, survived only with a scratch to the head. Tupac was immediately hospitalized. He underwent many surgeries. To stop the internal bleeding, doctors removed his right lung as a last resort. Tupac’s condition remained critical and he was placed on life support.

After 6 days of struggle, Tupac’s body gave up and he died on September 13, 1996 at 16:03. Respiratory and heart failure due to multiple gunshot wounds was declared as the official cause of death.
Tupac’s body was cremated, with some of his ashes sprinkled all over Los Angeles by his mother, and some taken by members of his group, the Outlawz, after being mixed with drugs.
After his death, hundreds of speculations were made about him. Most of his fans believe that he is not dead. About the 7 Day Theory (7 Day Theory) was put forward. Of course, theses were put forward to disprove this legend. Their albums continued to be released after they were called “dead”. There is a shooting scene in the video clip of “I ain’t mad at cha“, which was released posthumously from these albums, and it is exactly the same as the shooting scene in Tupac’s real life. In addition, Tupac stated that a few months before his death, he wanted to quit rap music and become a gangster. There is still a lack of evidence and doubts about his death. Despite all these years, the culprit or criminals have not been found.
