Travis Scott Performs For First Time Since Astroworld
Travis Scott performs for the first time since the Astroworld tragedy.
The Houston rapper gave a short set at Richie Akiva’s pre-Oscar party at a private home in Bel-Air on Saturday, March 26. Travis got behind the DJ booth and joined hit songs such as “Antidote,” “Highest in the Room,” “Goosebumps” and “Sicko Mode.” In images shared on social media, the crowd looked in good spirits, smiling as they sang together.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Venus and Serena Williams had a star-studded night with guests including Tyga, YG and more. Travis was also seen laughing and posing for a photo with Tobey Maguire.

The pre-Oscars concert was Travis’ first since the Astroworld Festival on November 5, resulting in 10 deaths.

He announced his $5 million initiative, “Project HEAL,” a long-term community-focused philanthropy and investment effort that he said would be “a catalyst for real change.”

“Over the past few months I’ve been taking the time and space to grieve, reflect and do my part to heal my community,” Travis wrote. “Most importantly, I want to use my resources and platform moving forward towards actionable change. This will be a lifelong journey for me and my family.”
Travis Scott has a few plans
Before the tragedy, Travis headlined Coachella, and Kanye West announced plans to expose Travis when he headlines the festival next month.
Travis welcomed a son in February and continues to work on his long-awaited album Utopia, a sequel to Astroworld in 2018.
