On Thursday, February 24, 50 Cent took to Instagram and hailed R&B legend Usher for playing the 2003 hit “In Da Club” when his son, Sire Raymond, was born.
“We have 2 Kings now, SIRE Jackson and SIRE Raymond. coolest shit ever! @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi @bottlerover,” 50 said referring to his son sharing the same name as Usher’s child
Usher shared the memory with Ellen Degeneres on her talk show earlier this week. He said he was responsible for the music to be played in the hospital room. Usher had ruined her choice of music when her daughter was born and said she didn’t want to experience the same thing again.
“The first time, I was in charge of music but I did a terrible job,” Usher told Ellen. “But the second time, I came fully equipped. I had my Mophie. I had speakers. I had backup batteries. I had a whole playlist that I had worked on for about two weeks. It was crazy. It was great.”
50 Cent Also Shared an Instagram Post About Michael Jordan and Mary J. Blige
While 50 Cent congratulated the little baby who joined Usher’s family, he made his followers laugh again with a recent post about NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan and Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige.
“All Star weekend. MJ & MJB, he palmed the ball, LOL, ”50 wrote in the caption of his Instagram, which was a zoomed-in screenshot on Jordan ‘s hand resting comfortably on Mary J. Blige ‘s backside. 50 also stitched the photo of a meme from Denzel Washington.
On Tuesday, February 22, he shared another nostalgic memory of Blige and Jordan staring passionately into each other’s eyes, writing, “See just when we thought it was all fvcked up. LOL.”
