Where is Lil Nas X?
The Grammy-winning “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” singer lives and thrives on social media – both as a marketing tool and to interact with fans (and haters) – but his last posts on Twitter and Instagram were about two months ago on December 6. But Lil Nas X, 22, has not been heard from since, and fans are starting to notice and wonder.
Even more worryingly, according to Billboard, he last posted a series of deleted tweets on December 17, acknowledging that he had tested positive for the coronavirus and reportedly calling it “COVID really terrible. ”
He even had to withdraw from the Capital FM Jingle Ball in the UK a week ago, but at the time a statement from Capital FM said that “members” of several acts teams, including only his, had tested positive. This announcement came a day after he appeared at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball 2021 on December 10, 2021 in New York City – his last public appearance.
Given that he has actively tweeted to his 7.5 million followers almost every day since his account was set up in July 2016, worried Nas fans are now flocking to Twitter and wondering if he is “ok” – and openly asking “Where is Lil Nas X?” and tweeting directly to him, “Where are you?” and “You haven’t tweeted in 2 months king, I hope it’s ok.”
