Young Dolph Died After a Fatal Shooting in Memphis
Young Dolph was killed in a gun attack in Memphis, the city where he spent his childhood.
According to the statement made by Maurice Hill, the owner of the “Makeda’s Butter Cookies” shop, Dolph, who entered the shop to buy cookies, was shot dead by an unidentified attacker who approached the shop with his vehicle.
Young Dolph, who started his music career with his first mixtape “Paper Route Campaign” released in 2008, released almost all of his mixtape and album under the name “Paper Route Empire“.
Having released 19 mixtapes and 8 albums throughout his career, Young Dolph made his debut with the King of Memphis album he recorded in 2016 and rose to 46th place in the Billboard 200.
The American Rapper, who has had many singles and duets in his career, rose to 3rd place in the U.S peak Chart with his duet “Cut it” with O.T Genasis and earned a Platinum Certificate.
His duet with Megan Thee Stallion from his album “Rich Slave”, released last year, rose to 5th place in the U.S RNB/HH peak Chart with his duet “RNB“ and earned a gold certificate.
Young Dolph, who was very successful in the last stages of his career, managed to take a place in the Billboard 200 with his albums “Rich Slave” and “Dum and Dummer 2”, which he made with Key Glock. Rich Slave album climbed to 4th place on the Billboard 200, while Dum and Dummer 2 reached 8th place.
